Today, I’m going to introduce two amazing websites for Japanese geometric and crests designs from my country of birth, Japan. Guess what? These websites have downloadable EPS files!! Yes, they’re vector. So, it’s all editable. That’s amazing, isn’t it?

Firstly, the images above are from Crest Japan. Their site has English pages, so it won’t be any problem navigating. You can just choose a type of crest from a menu on the side bar.

The images above here are from “flower crest” page. Let me repeat. They’re all downloadable in EPS format (Illustrator 10 or above compatible)!

The images above are from Ikiya. They’ve got very nice collection of downloadable vector Japanese geometric designs (in EPS format).

The site is all written in Japanese, but shouldn’t be any problem browsing the page. Just scroll down and there’s a lot of colourful Japanese geometric design images. They’re illustrator 9 or above compatible and come in .zip format.

I also possess a Japanese geometric design CD (bought when I went back to Japan before). I haven’t really made any artwork with them, but these images may come in handy in the future. At least, they’re pleasing to the eye!
